These works rely on the residential address of the cases at the time of their birth and their proximity to sources of exposure or in relation to exposure mapping. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>Patients concerned<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">: all children under 15 years old diagnosed with cancer or benign brain tumor since 2010, residing in metropolitan France at the time of diagnosis.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>Data used<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">:<\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>Data collected by the RNCE<\/b><\/span><\/span>: <span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">gender, date of birth, date of cancer diagnosis, type of cancer coded according to the International Classification of Diseases for Oncology (ICD-O), department of residence, precise address of the home at birth geocoded according to geographic coordinates (longitude\/latitude).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GEOCAP \u2013 BIRTH The objective of the GEOCAP-BIRTH program, based on the National Registry of Childhood Cancers (RNCE), is to study the influence of environmental exposures on the risk of childhood cancer.
