Objective: To study the risk of cancer in children following the use of Assisted Reproductive Technology in France.

Methods

The study is conducted at the French National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM), using data from the National Health Data System (SNDS), covering all births since 2010. The methods of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) are obtained through algorithms based on maternal healthcare utilization, while cancer diagnoses are obtained through algorithms based on pediatric healthcare utilization.
